What this site stores, what stays on your device, and what third parties may collect.

1. Who we are
Brick Breaker Games is an independent website published at brickbreakergames.xyz. For privacy questions, contact privacy@brickbreakergames.xyz.
Add the legal entity or individual acting as data controller, plus a correspondence address. If you have EU or UK visitors, this is required by the GDPR.
2. The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name or email address unless you choose to email us.
- Your game scores, favourites, recently played games, theme choice, sound setting and cookie choice are stored in your own browser and are never transmitted to us.
- We have no database and no server-side application. This is a static website.
- Third parties - a web host, an analytics provider, an advertising provider - may collect information independently of us. Those are described in sections 5 to 7.
3. Information stored on your device
The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember a small number of
preferences and results. This is not the same as a cookie: the data is never attached to requests
and never sent to our server.

None of these contain personal information, and all of them can be removed at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings. Doing so will reset your scores and favourites, which cannot be recovered because we never had a copy.
4. Information we collect directly
None automatically. We have no contact form backend, no newsletter provider connected, no user accounts and no comment system.
If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that email - typically your email address, your name if you sign it, and the content of your message. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it and any follow-up, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
5. Hosting
Name your web host here and link to its privacy policy and data processing terms - for example Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages or a traditional shared host.
Web servers routinely record requests in access logs, which typically include IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page and browser user-agent string. This is standard server operation and is used for security and troubleshooting.
6. Analytics
No analytics service is currently installed. The page templates contain a clearly marked, empty placeholder where an analytics snippet would go. If analytics is added, this section will name the provider, state what it collects, say whether IP addresses are anonymised, and link to the provider's own policy - before the code goes live.
7. Advertising
No advertising is currently served on this site. Empty ad containers are present in the layout but load nothing. If advertising is enabled, this section will name the provider, explain the use of advertising cookies and identifiers, and link to the provider's policies and opt-out controls.
Advertising providers generally use cookies and similar technologies to measure impressions, limit repeat ads and, where permitted, personalise what you see. If you are in a region with consent requirements, the cookie banner is where that choice is recorded.
Google's policies, if Google AdSense is the provider used, are published at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and personalised advertising can be managed at myadcenter.google.com.
8. Embedded content and external links
This site embeds no third-party content: no video players, no social widgets, no external fonts, no analytics pixels beyond what section 6 describes. Everything the pages load comes from this domain.
We do link to external websites, including Wikipedia, MDN Web Docs and the Internet Archive. Once you follow such a link you are subject to that site's own privacy policy, not ours.
9. Children
This site is suitable for general audiences, and the games contain no violence, gambling mechanics or in-app purchases. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability.
In practice, most of what this site stores is on your own device and under your direct control: clearing site data removes it immediately. For anything you have sent us by email, contact privacy@brickbreakergames.xyz and we will respond within the time limits that apply in your jurisdiction.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
11. Data retention
Browser storage persists until you clear it. Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed. Server access logs are retained according to the host's own policy - see section 5.
12. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because we hold no user accounts, no payment details and no database, the amount of information at risk is intentionally minimal. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you send us by email.
13. Changes to this policy
If we enable analytics or advertising, or connect the contact form or a newsletter provider, this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will change.
